For new activations made in the field via Sales Reps (General Business sales codes)

Instant Rebate Process: (For all General Business sales codes)

  1. Effective Apr 1 2009, new activations that qualify for a rebate will receive the rebate amount up front as an instant discount at the point of sale, rather than as a mail-in rebate (MIR). It is up to the Sales Rep to deduct the rebate amount on the order form.
  2. Existing rebate rules and requirements must be met - sales reps must make sure their customer is eligible for the instant rebate before deducting the rebate amount on the order form. SSC's are NOT responsible for ensuring your customer is eligible for the instant discount.
  3. Current rebate offerings will be posted on MagentaNation on a monthly basis. If there are changes mid-month, Bus Sales will ensure the field is informed of any updates.


Rebate Submission Process/Online Tool
  1. For purchases before Apr 1 2009, customers can still submit their rebate. They have until Apr 30th to submit their submissions (online or mailed in) and should be following the existing process. All General Business Logins for the online rebate tool will be terminated after Apr 30th.
  2. The B2B Online tool will not accept rebate submissions for purchases made on or after Apr 1 via the general business sales codes. If the customer tries to submit a rebate, it will be denied. MIRs for purchases made on or after Apr 1 will also be denied.

The Rebate Process for BPS (Business Partner Sales), PDP (Premier Discount Program), and CIHU will remain the same.
Rebate process for all Retail and Dealer one off's will remain the same.
